CD or Certified Dietitian indicates professional regulation by the State of Vermont to registered dietitian nutritionist applicants who complete at least 30 hours of continuing professional education every 2 years.  The purpose of the legal designation is to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of Vermonters.

CEDRD or Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian means I have met rigorous requirements for certification in the field of treating people with eating disorders.
