Providing personalized, expert mind-body nutrition services has been my life's passion as evidenced by my credentials, certifications and trainings I have completed in my quest for continued learning. I would like to share the meaning of the credentials following my name with you.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration and is a graduate degree specializing in health care administration received from Boston University. 

RDN or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is a legal credential earned by meeting criteria determined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, including:    

  • Completing a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Bradley University, Peoria, IL, 1983

  • Completing an accredited internship program of 9 months at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, 1984

  • Passing a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), 1984

  • Completing continuing professional educational requirements to maintain registration, on going for 30 years!

CD or Certified Dietitian indicates professional regulation by the State of Vermont to registered dietitian nutritionist applicants who complete at least 30 hours of continuing professional education every 2 years.  The purpose of the legal designation is to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of Vermonters.   

CEDRD-S or Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian-Supervisor means I have met rigorous requirements for certification in the field of treating people with eating disorders by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). As a supervisor, I provide guidance to other dietitians and health care provider seeking iaedp certification.

RYT or Registered Yoga Teacher. I have completed a 200 hr yoga teacher training in Kripalu Yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA, 500 hr yoga teacher training in Integrative Yoga Therapeutics at the New England School of Integrative Yoga Therapeutics, Cambridge, MA, Levels 1&2 certification in Restorative yoga and certification as a y4c, (yoga 4 cancer) teacher.
